Leftfield - Live At Homelands (2000)

This download is a live show by Leftfield that was recorded at The Homelands Festival on the 27th May 2000. The copy was taken from a radio broadcast so the quality is excellent for a live show. Both of their albums are well represented with half the tracks from their first album Leftism and the rest from the second album, Rhythm & Stealth.

Leftfield are a British duo of electronica artists and record producers, namely Paul Daley (formerly of The Rivals, A Man Called Adam and the Brand New Heavies) and Neil Barnes, who formed in 1990 in London, England.

  1. You're finding some great live stuff right now, good work Holmes! I saw this lot at Glasto a few years back, they had the most immense bass I've ever felt!

Neil Barnes is back on the road under the Leftfield name right now, playing a handful of UK dates (although more could well follow next year) - http://www.leftfieldtour.co.uk/

  2. I never saw them live unfortunately but you're not the first person to tell me that their bass sound is immense. A mate saw them in some church a few years back and he said you could feel the bass bins rumbling before the show even started :)

And my boss has just shown me her tickets for their show this Friday at the Academy *grrr*
