Heresy / Concrete Sox Split EP

This album was probably the first proper crust/grind album I ever heard and I reckon it's a classic to this day. Concrete Sox and Heresy were two of the early pioneers of grind and this 1987 release showcases both bands in all their glory. The similarities between the bands are numerous. Both come from Nottingham in the UK, both formed around the mid-eighties and both are fast as fuck.

Concrete Sox reformed fairly recently and did a few European shows but I don't know if they're still currently together. You can get 2 free albums (Your Turn Next & Whoops Sorry Vicar) at the official Concrete Sox site. There are also a couple of live shows (At The Station 1984 & Live In Japan 1994) available and the original demo for Speak Siberian Or Die so go get 'em. There is also a myspace page for Heresy.
